This page explains how to delete your Orbitals account and the data associated with it. Orbitals is a puzzle game available on the web and as a mobile app for Android and iOS. Accounts are anonymous — we never ask for your name, email, or phone number — so the quickest and most reliable way to delete yours is from inside the app, where it is already linked to your profile.

How to delete your account (in the app)

1. Open Orbitals on your device.
2. Open Settings (the gear icon).
3. Find the account section.
4. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately. A fresh, unrelated anonymous profile is then set up on the device so you can keep playing.

If you can't open the app

Because accounts are anonymous, the in-app button above is the most reliable route. If you can no longer access the app, email info@playorbitals.com from a device that still has Orbitals installed (or include details that help us locate your profile) and we will process the deletion for you.

What is deleted

• Your in-game display name.
• All of your scores and your presence on every leaderboard.
• All of your sign-in credentials — the anonymous device identifier and any linked Google Play Games or Apple Game Center account.

What is kept, and for how long

For fraud prevention and to protect the integrity of the global leaderboard, we retain internal gameplay records (game sessions and score submissions) in anonymized form. Before they are kept, every personal identifier is removed — your display name, analytics identifier and all credentials are erased — so these records can no longer be linked back to you. They contain no personal data and are held only as long as needed for audit and anti-fraud purposes.

Product-analytics events (via PostHog) are tied to a separate anonymous analytics identifier that is not your account, and follow PostHog's standard retention. To request erasure of any other data, email the address below.
